Very striking and haunting image Bonnie. I am impressed with the fact that this seems to be a much stronger image without the faces. And am sure that a Mother would have an image like this deeply ingrained in her memory and heart. Congrats on POTD!

Wow, this image tells a unique, somber, and yet touching story. I also like the image without the faces which places the emphasis where you desired it to be. One's eye is easily drawn into the scene. Much thought went into this photo. Congratulations on a well deserved POTD!

Wonderful Picture Bonnie the focus is right where it should be this is one son or daughter or husband or wife that will never really come home. Congrats on your POTD win today lets hope our service men and women come safely home and the sooner the better.
