I don't know if I think it's beautiful or that it's sad how ruined the nature in foreground looks, but your photo is unquestinable very beautiful! You have good layers, small leading lines yet enough to draw attention, a very nice yet subtile sky and the gorgeous mountains at distance. Congratulations on the POTD!

Yes, very sad content but excellent rendition of the area, Heather. Your image is crisp and clear with all the details in total focus throughout the entire DOF! Very impressive! The groups of lavendar flowers give this a feel of hope for regrowth... Congrats on an awesome POTD win!
