Eggs

Photographer Notes:
My bird knowledge is not so good, but I guess these are some kind of eggs? ;) Found just under the rails on a railroad bridge. I guess they come from an eagle or hawk or falcon or that kind of bird...

Thank you everybody for the kind words! I did a little research on which bird that could leave these eggs and as Kumiko told me, this might be from a smaller bird than an eagle or hawk (I thought so because of the place where I found them) but actually these come from the Common Blackbird (Turdus merula), also called Eurasian Blackbird (or Koltrast in Swedish). So now you know ;) Thank you once again for the POTD and the kind comments!

as a bird watcher and photographer I hope you go back and see what hatches out. maybe even the parents. They look to small for eagle, and here those eggs would be white. I am quite curious. great shot and congrats
