Old Moscow-New Moscow
by Jon Ayres (GAREB)
Camera:
Panasonic Lumix FZ-50
Location:
Moscow

Russian Federation

Photographer Notes:
Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation is an evolving city, constantly changing, nothing exemplifies this strong than the old churches all over Moscow and the new construction going on in every part of Moscow, sadly as many as 200 old historic buildings are lost every year in Moscow.

Wow, what a contrast! And how sad the old have to make way for the new.

Sad historic buildings are lost like that. Provokes feelings of Old-letting go for the New...Nicely seen, Jon!

Wow that's a busy & colorful place. Be careful not to step out while you are snapping away! Looks crowded and interesting.

I like this pic because of the many stories it tells in one shot. Thank you for showing us another perspective.
