Photographer Notes:

Yes this was shot on the 6th of june, and yes there is still lots of snow on the mountains around here. This shot is taken somewhere at an altitude of around 1000 meters... it was actually snowing lightly on and off this day at this place...

Thanks Kumiko, we have a glacier about 150 km from where I am... Julie, we had no snowball fight, but the snow's still there so there is still chance to do that... And Leonard, you assume correctly, I also own the camera and lens that Caj is not using in this picture...

Ahh, I found you! I had seen Caj's photo and looked for the one you took of him. I, too, have an Olympus...the E-510. I really like the Olympus cameras. And it looks like a great day for hiking...better cool than too warm outside. I used to live in the Mts. of Northern California, at 4200 feet altitude, and we would sometimes have snow in June there, too. Thank you for sharing your photo!
