29-2-08 Year of the Frogs

Photographer Notes: EF 100m 2.8 macro Shanahan is about 3cm. He's an agile or Dalmatian frog (rana dalmatina) with his hand on Jagr who is crouched against the wall.In a lne, Shanahan, Callahan in center and Prucha on the wall. Straka hid under he water-dish, but he's half the size of Prucha and only about 1.5cm. Since it was declared Year of the Frog, I had to let my frogs become celebrities. They're about 5 months old. As you can guess, they're all avid Ranger fans. I dislike handling them because they are very small and delicate. They were all happy to get back into their froghouse again. while shooting I discovered that there are probably 3 different frog species here, so very low luck for mating.
