World in Pictures Day: Submit Photo

The World in Pictures Day rules are as follows:

• Purpose: The purpose of this effort is not so much to demonstrate everyone's photo skills, but to record for posterity this one day in history.
• Entry Start Time: Entries are accepted for the World in Pictures Day beginning 12 hours after the world has entered the target date.
• Entry Period: Entries are accepted for a period of 72 hours, giving everyone around the world time to submit their entries.
• Photo Date: All photos must be taken on the subject date.
• Display Period: After the entry period, the gallery will be open to the public to browse and comment.
• Number of Entries: One entry per photographer per World in Pictures Day edition. You may change your entry during the entry period.
• Dimensions: Submissions should be 480-800 pixels on each side. Larger images will be resized to be 800 pixels on the longest side.
• File Size: Photos must be under 500 KBytes in size.
• Text/Borders: No borders, text, or other indications of copyright. We will display a copyright disclaimer with your photo if selected.
• Editing: In keeping with the photojournalistic spirit of this effort, images should be as close to "straight from the camera" as possible. Basic cleanup and corrections are expected, but no digital artwork.
• Content: No nudity or risque photos. Photography is fun for all ages and as such, photographyvoice.com is as well.
• Digital Only: Obviously film cameras still take excellent photographs, but photographyvoice.com is focused on digital photography only. No scans or digital "prints" from film cameras, please.
• All photographs and their copyright remain the sole property of the photographer and may not be used or reproduced elsewhere without their express permission.
