Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker

Photographer Notes:

With the leaves gone and the land mostly brown, birds are about the only splashes of color left. This yellow-bellied sapsucker flew south to Virginia for the winter, just in time to be captured with my new DA *300.

Thank you all for your comments. Marcia, the DA *300 is not a camera but a 300mm prime lens. The star lenses are Pentax's best, equivalent to Canon's L lenses. It's a great lens, though just a touch heavy for everyday use.
