Photographer Notes:

I walked an abandoned rail line yesterday to find some Eastern Redbud trees in bloom. As I crossed a railroad bridge, I spotted these mushrooms growing in the cracks of the timbers. Shot with the *ist DS and the Pentax DA 40 Limited.

Luckily you had your camera with you or this photo would not have been taken. Just emphasizes once again the importance of having it with us at all times. Good illustration of how nature clings to life everywhere.
