Looking Proud Around

Photographer Notes:
This kingfisher is looking proud arround. For these Kingfisher shots I have to wait and sit for hours before I can shoot them. But everytime he is coming nearby it was worht all the waiting. This one is also shot with a Sigma 500mm F/4.5.

stunning image! our kingfishers are also extremely skittish and hard to approach, but not nearly as colorful! :(

Another excellent Kingfisher portrait Walter! I love that he is sitting on the thistle/seedpod. Everything comes together perfectly in this one. Well worth your long wait and patience!
