Wow This is awesome Walter you can never be too close I love this shot more because I can see every little detail of this Kestrel the eye and the yellow coloring and his beautiful feathers BIG CONGRATS on your POTD win.

It appears by the blood on his beak and above his nostrils you caught him just after his meal...perhaps you interrupted him! Quite an impressive shot, Walter! It pays to be in the right place at the right time...! Congratulations on a wonderful POTD!
