Hard Times for Cowboys and Box Packers

Photographer Notes:
While at work the other day, some co-workers, knowing my penchant for interesting juxtapositions, said, "hey John, look across the street...there's a cowboy hat in the gutter!" I grabbed my camera and went to investigate and made several exposures. I particularly liked the idea of a cowboy hat and a packing peanut just laying in the gutter, and couldn't help but try and figure out what story was behind all this.
