New England winters can make you feel like a prisoner in your house, but never was the feeling as palpable as this year… when my house grew bars over the windows.

Now that's cold...! I love snow but don't think I would want it for that long or that much! Lots of clear detail here, William, great exposure as well! Congrats on your POTD!

Living in San Diego, I don't get to see sights like this. I totally miss the winters, being a born in the midwest gal, but you know, I will NOT complain! Clever title treatment - great shot! I need a cup o hot cocoa now.
