Even though "bleak" there is beautiful openness and vastness to this prairie scene! The single tree gives it added interest...congratulations on your win today!

A nicely composed image of winter on the prairie, Gretchen. I really like the barren trees right in the 3rds of the scene which add interest and the beauty of the grey cloudy sky with its various layers adding a beautiful touch to the scene...congrats on your winner today!
