This doe is rather blase about folks... I was easily only about ten feet away and all she did was lazily raise her head and look at me... she's kind of a regular visitor to the area.

What a wonderful photograph of a beautiful animal.It has a lovely two tone effect,with the sunlight lightning up her rear,and the shade keeping her cool.Great expression too.Congratulations on your very well deserved POTD.

Thank you ALL for your kind comments. I don't believe this girl had a fawn this year, but I'm quite aware that at least one of her herd certainly did - hope I get lucky there, too!
