A note about this image; it is straight OOC, no HDR and no PP except cropped and resized for the web. This was taken outside the Laguna Beach Hotel at the memorial service for noted photographer Jerry Burchfield. I was outside the hotel, with the beach at my back. Inside, I could see the couple viewing 'the box' containing his ashes, through the window. That is when I took the photo. Miss you , Jerry.

thanks for all the nice comments. So many things would have not made this image work; if they had not been wearing black, if the sun had not been setting, if the clouds had been in different spots (rare we even have clouds in So Calif this time of year). Like I've always said, I'd rather be lucky than good! If you would like to know more about Jerry, take a look at his site, it's just his name as the URL What a creative thinker he was!
