Photographer Notes:

"Flags-in" has been performed annually since 1948 when the Old Guard was named the Army's official ceremonial unit. A flag was centered precisely one foot in front of more than 350,000 headstones. This was my first year to see "Flags-In" and to honor our nations finest on Memorial Day weekend. Arlington National Cemetery.
