Yes, Joy, it is a wood duck. This fall is the first time I've seen them in the wild (since I've moved to NE Ohio). Hard to believe the color and markings are real.

Wonderful colors and reflection. Wood ducks have such distinct coloration that it is hard to believe it is real.
