Now this is interesting. Very effective in B&W, color would have only detracted from it. Very nice composition.

This is a powerful photograph. The Roosevelt memorial remembers the greatest president in the history of your republic. Some presidents are great because they saved their nation in the face of terrible adversity (Washington, Lincoln). FDR is great because he saved the nation twice, once during the Great Depression and once during World War II. Too bad we can't call him back into service today. Thanks for the post.
