Great shot Trever,I love your approach the long range picture most people just get the momument but it is the wall of names that tells the real story. Congrats on your POTD win.

Nicely done, TC. Like the way you captured the reflection of the trees in the polished granite. The image has a haunting political commentary that I can't quite put my finger on.... I like it a lot. You must have been there early -- no offerings in front of the memorial. Keep snapping!

Thank you all for your comments. I was scrambling Wednesday to get some shots while there was snow on the ground in case we continue to have a dry winter. I was very happy that the cold kept most people off the mall, it made for better photo opportunities like this one that I could never get in the summer.
