Photographer Notes:

I took a cruise out of Mackinaw City to see the lighthouses on Lake Michigan. This lighthouse lies 20 miles west of Mackinaw Bridge, Michigan. When we went out on this lighthouse tour the waters were very rough and the captain really had a lead foot too. He was bouncing so hard over that water I felt like a marble in a tin can. We were getting dangerously close to the shallow rocks that surround this lighthouse so I stayed very close to the life jackets.

Sounds like an excited adventure. You were able to capture a lovely photo amidst all the odds which you encountered. Love lighthouses myself. Even the sky looks stormy. Congratulations!
