Photographer Notes:
I just got a kick out of seeing this young guy standing at a bus stop reading. His cell phone is in his pocket. There are no MP3 player lines to his ears. He was just standing and reading and waiting for the bus. It was very refreshing to see. Of course the book he was reading could have been "How to Totally Block Out the World with Small Electronic Devices" but I would rather think it was not.

Hi Robert. This is a great shot. I'm also dismayed by the number of people tuning out of their surroundings, young and old (generation i-pod). I hope this guy leads the world in a return to community.

LOL Robert. Yeah, we can only hope that he wasn't reading the text implied by you. And I agree, it is refreshing to see a young man read a book rather than listening to music. I like this shot. The subject matter is awesome and is captured brilliantly. Congratulation on a fine POTD.
