This is a close up of a section of a mushroom or fungus I saw growing in the grass. I thought it looked like some kind of chocolate dessert :)

The close up nature of this image with the extreme detail does show another side of the fungus - an outstanding capture. Congratulations on your win today!

If you had not mentioned this was a fungus I would have thought it was the food category. Great eye and idea. Congratulations on your tasteful looking mushroom and POTD.
