An excellent capture with a striking comp, loads of detail, soft color tones and a lovely complimentary background. I also like the perch. Congratulations on a very nice POTD, Beverley!

Thank you Glenn and Patrice. The perch is a sisal log that's been placed horizontal. I took this at my friend's house and they made extra holes in the sisal and put suet and fruit, etc.

Thanks Trevor, I took it just after 7 in the morning, I find the light is much sweeter than during the day :-))
