Diamond Dyes Display Cabinet
by Bonnie Lackey (forbescat)
Nikon D-70
Troy, Michigan
United States of America

Photographer Notes:
In the early 1900's, dye for home use was purchased in little packets which were kept in store display cabinets like this. The picture is a tin lithograph insert whose the colors have kept their tone and depth. There were also Diamond Dyes "trading cards" which can now be found on E-Bay. Troy Museum.

Nice shot Bonnie. We used to have a cabinet door like this. I think the picture was kids dancing around the maypole
