This beauty of a beast is actually an adult female stick insect - acrophyllus wuelfingi. The females grow up to around 25cm's in length.

Wow, this is a capture of a creature for this category like none ever seen before! What a marvelous shot of an insect which is only 25cm or so. Congratulations on this winner, Jiva!
