Photographer Notes:
Lake Bonneville, used to be a huge lake spanning from SLC to close to McAmmon, ID. This is a remnant of that time. Its called the outlet because this is where lake Bonneville had its entrance into bear river.

Beautiful photo! Sad history, the thought of such a drastic landscape change. I'm sure it took many, many years to come about but still...another body of water gone forever...sad! Congratulations on your POTD win!
