A wonderful capture, Raymond! The dog ( wolf-like & wet!) certainly seems to be standing guard! I love the bright colours of the steps..here in England they tend to be just a dull gray! Congratulations on this superb capture!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments! The funny thing here, is that as I was only shooting the church... this dog came along, he just stood there with that look and posture (just long enough for me to take the photo), and then he walked away as peacefully as he came!
