As I life-long B&W shooter, I've recently become fascinated with color for it's own sake, and I love the boldness of this. It immediately pops the question in the viewer's mind: Is it an umbrella, a balloon, maybe a tent... and draws you in. Congratulations!

Beautiful colours & abstract pattern captured here, Linn! Amazing clarity! I agree with Tim..it is very intriguing! Probably a balloon canopy... but it could be a sail! Congratulations!

Thank you very much for your kind comments - they are appreciated immensely. Yes, this is a balloon canopy taken at the Balloon Festival held annually at Glens Falls, New York.
