Photographer Notes:
Ashland is a quaint little town which has made attempts to preserve their old buildings. Seven historical murals were painted on the sides of selected downtown buildings. Pictured above is the Storefront Mural which depicts the retail, banking and entertainment establishments from its past.

An unusual exceptional view. The murals look 3-dimensional, probably from a certain point of view. The van in front establishes the link to reality. Great eye, Congratulations, Patrice.

You commented on my photo last week and asked about Emma....she's doing very well. She is still in chemo, her last round in Dec. She had her collar bone removed and so far, all her reports have been positive. She's weak and frail and stays home and has first grade tutoring to keep up with her school work. Hopefully in Dec. , she will end chemo and be cancer free! Thanks for asking. BTW, love your colorful photo today, what a fabulous creation, you did well to capture the art. Virginia

I do not receive the opportunity to go to downtown Ashland often. I have been there twice in the last several months and each time it was raining. We have had very few sunny days in the entire area within the last several weeks. Thanks, Susan, for your comment. Much appreciated.
