Historical Storage Barn
by Patrice Cigallio Wesa (Patrice Cigallio)
Camera:
Canon PowerShot S3IS
Location:
Old Victoria, Michigan

United States of America

Photographer Notes:
In the mid to late 1800's miners seeking copper and silver came to the hills around Victoria, MI, and a village sprung up around the mine. Hand -hewn log cabins and storage barns, built nearly 100 years ago served as housing and storage for the miners at the Victoria Copper Mine. The barn pictured above along with the items outside were preserved and remain as a historical site today.

I love the exposure - the dappled light filtering through the trees has created a photographer's paradise to take captures in. Love the wonderful textures in the wood of the old building - you didn't miss any details on this one... WONDERFUL!
