A wide, but not nearly complete, selection of the pointy plants that inhabit the Sonoran Desert: ocotillo, barrel cactus, prickly pear, and some smaller specimens of the giant saguaro. The city of Tucson is in the background. Tanque Verde Ridge.

Love the title. My oldest daughter lives in El Paso and the scenery is very similar to this.
