Photographer Notes:
The high-desert land of eastern California's Owens Valley, bordered on one side by the Sierra Nevada, combines spectacular fall colors with a uniquely Western rugged mountainscape. Taken using the DA 16-45mm lens and Hoya Digital circular polarizer, IS0 400, f13, 1/50 sec @ 23mm.
