Lucy's Playhouse

Photographer Notes:
This playhouse was built in 1885 for Lucy Haskell, the daughter of a wealthy Alton family when she was five years old. She died of diptheria at the age of 9. The family home, playhouse, and grounds were donated to the city. It is now a city park.
