I shot this from the den window of our 7th floor condo apartment earlier today. It's stopped snowing now, but we did get a fair dumping while the snowstorm lasted.

Snow, you either love it or hate it! Great capture of the "hate it" side! I used to go farther up in Canada every year snowmobiling and this is just a sprinkling, folks! Congrats on the POTD!

The muted shades of slight color give this image a definite painting like look and the figure shovelling the snow create added interest. Congratulations on an excellent POTD!

Very nice street scene, Gerda! Looks very real and very cold. The snow is waist high in my back yard here in the North woods so I know what it is like. Wonderful scene, Congrats!!!
