Photographer Notes:
The Coops Shot Tower is now part of the Melbourne Central shopping mall and encased in a glass cone. Originally it was used to make shot for shotguns by dropping molten lead from the top into barrels of water at the bottom. At one pint it was Melbourn'es tallest building.

A fantastic shot (pardon the pun!) from whichever angle. The image draws you right into it. Congrats on another great city scene POTD!

An interesting point of your local history.. I've never heard of such a method for making shot... I'd have thought they'd use shot glasses. Congrats!

-cracker of a shot again & showing off the old town to boot! Apart from the composiition , I like the contrasty light oagainst the brick-work as well...good work again mate.
