I rather like the contrast, this is superb, Isabel! I love the direction of light and the open wings of the bird...! Shadows give the image depth...Congratulations on the POTD!

Very Nice capture.Rendered soft lighting and still soft colours of the bird. Well placement in the frame, except a little distracting bg, near down its body.
