Thank you all for your kind comments. I've been pleasantly surprised as I really didn't think this shot would have much general appeal. So congratulations on your excellent taste :) Mustafa, this is a very large sundial, probably 18 or 20 feet across embedded into the ground in Greenwich Park. This is one of the numerals around the outside.
