Photographer Notes:

I applied an HDR effect on this image, I thought it came out interesting. This eagle would hop on a log in front of the flag every time someone would walk up with a camera. When they walked away it would hop off and go into the shade. I watched it for about 15 minutes and it did it every time.

A very nice interpretation of a patriotic theme. The eagle certainly knew when the spotlight was on! :) I like the ultra-contrast of the HDR effect. Congrats on your POTD!
