Photographer Notes:
Ula is a Golden Eagle with the Blue Mountain Wildlife Rescue she is almost blind and can only see things up close .. she was with some other Raptors on display for a Bird A Thon at Ladd Marsh ... I was in awwwe being able to sit about 5 feet from her and just watch her .. it is something i will never forget..

Touching... n like how the half shadow in her eyes kind of tells her almost blind situation....

Thanks ya guys .. I had a hard time getting a good shot of her with out so much clutter in the background . these birds were on display so they had tables and other stuff in the way .. I wanted to get shots of her with her eyes fully lit up but it was kinda hard .. but she was awesome to see .. so big ...
