The simplicity of this image is stunning. The complimentary colors work in harmony to create a soft touch look while the highlights bring out the beautiful texture in the wood...for the mind, there are many questions. Congratulations on an excellent POTD capture!

Thanks so much everyone..I really appreciate your comments! I discovered this old footbridge in a bird sanctuary area down the road from me.The bridge a step way over a swamp, but all overgrown now. I don't think there are many visitors to this area any more. Thanks again ! :O)

This excellent composition tells a wonderful story accentuated by your title. Wonderful textures and terrific soft complimentary colors & tones. I love the way that vine in the foreground folds around the bridge and comes up between the cracks. Congrats, Robin-Lee, on a terrific masterpiece!
