Congratulations Patrice, a very natural, unexplored looking landscape, softened by the nice use of the lilly in the foreground. I like it.

Very nice, Patrice. The perspective makes it tough to tell how large the area is. I love the lily in the foreground.

This beautiful landascape is cropped for best composition considerations, it has great color and a special emotive quality that exudes when captured at the right instant through preparation and patience with wonderful foreground interest! Congratulations on your POTD, Pat!

Patrice Cigallio Wesa commented on July 08, 2008 11:01:
Photographer's Note: This image was taken as is, not cropped, from the actual cement beneath the bridge at the beginning of the lake...where the black river enters it. The water was so low that I was able to actually stoop very low on an area which would otherwise be covered up with water. Was taken with a 27 mm. wide angle lens and you can actually view the city beyond the lake so the area covered is quite expansive.
SaMi Martin commented on July 08, 2008 13:24:
