A well seen abstract, Christine. I simply love the rich colors, the patterns, and the impressive perspective of this spiral like architectural shot. Congrats on a wonderful win today!

Melk Abbey is famous-- Name of the Rose was filmed there, but Melk is very very beautiful place. Supposedly the inspiration for Wagner's Rhinemaidens came from the Wachau and the legend of Blondel and Richard the Lionheart. I've been in and around Melk but never in the Abbey-- really luscious beautiful area. beautiful image. you captured the illusory painting on the staircase beautifully. excellent detail.

Hi Mary, You know a lot about Melk. You should visit the Abbey, it is truly an experience never forgotten. What I find so impressive is the combination with modern art. Very well done. I have more pics of Melk, inside and out on my website. If you feel like it, please check my websites: www.betterphoto.com?ccm and www.highcloudphoto.com. Thanks & enjoy!
