Great shot! I was just there a couple of weeks ago on a blue sunny day. But I like the moodiness of the gray skies here and the lighthouse well lit by the sun apparently peeking out.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. This light house, at 115 feet, shares the title of tallest California's coast lighthouse with the Point Arena Lighthouse and is one of my favorites to visit.

A very lovely scene and comp, Larry, with wonderful detail, color and lighting. I really love those clouds and the sky which gives character to the composition with the lighthouse. Congratulations on a great POTD!
