Thank you, Evy, Caj and Gord. This is one of the very few good things we got from Ike. Because the hurricane had knocked out our power, we were sitting out back trying to keep cool. This Woodpecker flew up in my neighbor's Pecan tree. He even stayed long enough for me to get my camera and shoot a few shots.
