Thanks very much for your comments, the story goes that Airman's barn got its name from during the war, a couple of German airmen had bailed out of their plane and were hiding inside, they were spotted by a man who lives on the other side of the valley where they were then arrested and removed. Whether its true or not I couldn't really say but it does make a good story! Regards,
