From a sax player and a sax lover, thank you for this great photo. As you know, the Selmer Mark IV is revered by sax players all over the world for its range and tone. Your son is a lucky fellow to own one. I played my Keilwerth soprano at my mother's funeral a few years ago. Folks told me they appreciated that, as I'm sure they did your son's tribute.

Thak you for the comments. The sax is vintage 1959 or 1960 (serial# 90,000 range) and is older than my son. This was his high school graduation gift. He is a prfessional musician and tells me the sax has doubled in value. He has a bacelors degree in Jazz performance and Studio Musician, and a Masters degree in Jazz Writting and Arranging from the University of Miami.
