Thanks to the judge for choosing my image today and thanks to those who stop by later. I've been keen to photograph this particular bird the Pheasant Coucal. Unfortunately they are very flighty birds and was never fast enough to capture one. Then luck struck and two moved onto my property and I've been able to photograph them quite often.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments and congratulations. Renee, I believe this is possibly the male. I saw this one and the other together and the other one was larger. The female is bigger than the male. However, neither are breeding as they haven't changed colour.
