Very dramatic image, Diane! Nicely done, emphasizing the depth of field that separates the single soldier from the rest... Congrats on your POTD win!

Another dramatic historical image which you really have a gift for excelling in, Diane. Like the depth to the image which singles out the soldier in the front and the background mist which adds so much to the wonderful mood of the image. It could also symbolize all the smoke that is given off from the firing of the various canons, muzzle loaders etc. characteristic of that time. Congrats on your grand winner today with all its special & effective touches!
