This is wonderful Dick! You are so lucky to have come across wild horses. I love how the horse is just looking out from the grass. Great capture, congratulations on your Photo of the Day win.

Stunning image Dick. I live just north of Gainesville and have been to Paynes Prairie many times. I have photographed the wild horsed, but have not been as successful as you have here. Congrats on your wonderful POTD.

Splendid image of that wild horse hiding in tall grass, Dick! I didn't know there were wild horses in Florids. I noticed on the Payne's Prairie website that it has a photo contest and thought you might be interested. http://www.floridastateparks.org/paynesprairie/ Congratulations!
